The sequence of the maturing empowerments: A qualified vajra master, in a secluded place, arranges the outer, inner, secret, and suchness-symbolizing mandalas and tsok offerings. Transforming phenomenal existence into a deity's mandala, stimulating the continuum with mantra recitation, making the wisdom of the four empowerments the path. The worthy disciple is brought forth from cleansing, bound by a protective wheel to dispel obstacles. Then, the supplication is made: 'Ema! Vajra Master, consider! We, worthy sons of the lineage, beseech you to mature our three gates in the supreme mandala!' Three times, refuge, bodhicitta, and the three vows are given, wisdom is invoked and stabilized. In the main part, the nectar of the vase empowerment: Meditate on the essence of the Three Roots deities. Om! From the secret three places of the Undying Three Roots deities, by the empowerment of wisdom nectar, may the aggregates and elements be purified into the deity's form!
