【English Translation】 ha shri badzra kro ta hung phat, sarba sa khyi, kha la bhadra, dzala dzala hung phat, ram ram. Recite these and cast the threatening mudra in the ten directions. Reciting thirteen times will produce a sound like thunder. Reciting twenty-one times, it is said that hailstones will melt like melted butter. Moreover, the hail protection from the Sutra Pitaka: From here, after eighteen Buddha-fields to the east, in the world called 'Honey', resides a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha named 'Dragon King Sovereign'. Shariputra, those beings who hear the name of that Tathagata Dragon King Sovereign, when dragons send down hail in a town or village, should kneel on their right knee and say: 'By the truth and the words of truth, when the Tathagata Dragon King Sovereign formerly practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva, as a dragon, he liberated many dragons from their fears. He liberated many dragons, many hundreds of dragons, many thousands of dragons, many hundreds of thousands of dragons from their fears. By this root of virtue, may I attain unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment, and whether I become a Buddha or pass into Nirvana, in other worlds, wherever dragons send down hail, or send down harmful hail, or there is fear, disease, harm, or contagious disease, if my name is spoken, may all those harms disappear. By that word of truth, may there be happiness.' Thus make aspirations. Shariputra, by that truth and word of truth, the ripening of those beings will also be placed in happiness. The dragons' sending down of hail will also disappear merely by reciting the name, and having died and transmigrated from that dragon's life, they will be born in that Buddha-field and will never turn back from unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment. Those who have faith and great devotion will accumulate immeasurable merit day and night. For them, obtaining the wisdom of the Buddha is not difficult. 【English Translation】 In the east, there is a lightning called 'Coming'. In the south, there is a lightning called 'Hundred Sounds'. In the west, there is a lightning called 'Diminishing Light'. In the north, there is a lightning called 'Constant Lord'. Knowing the names of these four lightnings will prevent the fear of lightning. By the truth of the Tathagata's non-dual speech, by the truth of truth, may I and my retinue of protectors be free from the fear of lightning strikes, hailstorms, and lightning, and may we be protected! Mantra: tadyathā, nimi nimi nimi nimi mini nādhari. Holding the three-pointed weapon, illuminating the three realms, please protect me from all lightning, protect me! svāhā. Recite this mantra and write the names of the four lightnings in the four directions of the house. The chakra based on this method: In the center of the nine-pointed vajra, draw three connected dots on each side, starting from the right side of the seven dots including the center, write ni nāga ja munti āḥ, each word on one line. Then, within two intersecting square lines, write 'In the east, there is a lightning called 'Coming'', etc., in order in front and on the left and right. Recite muni and the seven-syllable mantra, and if the visualization is clear and firm, you will definitely be protected. This is a practical experience. In addition, in the new treasure mind practice: Visualize yourself as Hayagriva and other wrathful deities. In the sky, mentally draw a seven-pointed lightning diagram, with oṃ in the center, and visualize one syllable ni nāga ja munti āḥ on each point, and recite muni and the seven-syllable mantra, and you will definitely be protected. Alternatively, write this mantra in gold on blue paper and wear it on the neck or hat.
