【English Translation】 Here, the hail protection method of the Achara Marchung lineage from the Great Treasure Trove TD1809, various protection activities, hail protection. Oṃ Svasti! Here, the hail protection method of the Achara Marchung lineage is as follows: On a clean slate, in the center of drawing four concentric circles, place a four-layered, overlapping dharmodaya (chos 'byung, source of dharma). In the center of the twelve-petaled apex, write the syllable Āḥ (ཨཱཿ, seed syllable), and starting from the top, write Tibetan letters outwards on the twelve apexes: Dha (དྷ, dha), Dha (དྷ, dha), Sva (སྭཱ, svā), Rta (རྟ, rta), Ha (ཧ, ha), Ca (ཙ, ca), La (ལ, la), Rtsa (རྩ, rtsa), Pa (པ, pa), Hā (ཧཱ, hā), Gha (གྷ, gha), Ca (ཅ, ca). Completely cut off, dig out the roots, destroy the life force of the eight classes, Myok completely destroy. Sarva Nāga Tsitta Thum destroy. Disperse the wind channels, destroy the heart pain. Expel Shak Tsi Tra completely destroy. Khaṃ Shak Tsitta completely destroy. Sarva Nāga Tsitta Thum Tsitta Nanan. Triknan completely cut off Svāhā! After writing, put it inside with white mustard seeds and consecrate it. The direction from which the hail comes should be in the middle of the rock, where the sky can be seen. 【English Translation】 Sasong said, 'Look at what the heretics are using to defend against the hail.' When they went, the master, like gathering water droplets from the clouds, dropped hailstones the size of chariot wheels. The heretics showed a black 'sāccha' to the sky, recited mantras, and waved swords. Then, Gandharna Sang asked the heretics for all the evil spells and learned the following: Place the 'sāccha' on something black, or on the land of a blessed temple, or on the land of an empty place, or on the land of an old house, or make 'sāccha' by mixing the incense powder of the gods with tsampa. Write this mantra in it: 'E Gad Habing! Akad Pahi Thing Tse Thing Thing! Abhi Gad! Abhi Sa! Radmi Bhagada Svaha!' After writing, recite your own mantra ten thousand times, then roll it up from the end and put it in a tsha tsha. If you want to protect the place, place nine tsha tsha and piles of mustard seeds in all directions and in the path of the hail, and visualize the hail along with the lord of hail being pressed under the three thousand great thousand worlds. Gyalmo Khagchung offered one lang of gold to the king of Han, Devaraja, and said, 'This Han Chinese water-cutting charm is written on the stone tablet of Lhasa Trulnang, and it is impossible for hail to fall now.'
