The Monpa (mon pa, a Tibetan ethnic group) actors and singers, and livestock such as horses, mules, sheep, goats, and cattle, turn against and attack. Rainbows pierce and weapons strike, hail and torrents fall, and others chase; swept away by floods and wandering in dark places, these are signs of harm and possession by evil spirits. Initially, there are many confusing magical displays; however they stir up, the signs quickly deepen. In the middle, there are signs of subjugation and obedience, such as many people becoming servants and showing respect. Whatever magical displays or divine signs may arise, recite without hope or fear. Be mindful of the boundary between good and bad omens. Whatever experiences arise in dreams, cut, sever, kill, destroy, and annihilate without attachment or fixation, with the initial force free from pride and realization. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! During the practice, new samadhi (ting 'dzin, meditative absorption) arises. Increase the power of the substances and generate strength, subduing the evil of the three realms with light. Gather all the essence of the environment and beings, and visualize all the fields as being perfected into one. Recite three hundred thousand secret mantras. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! During the activity phase, separate the two, enemies and obstacles. Set up an altar to subdue the enemy in a secluded place. If performing sorcery, curses, or sending executioners, transform into messengers of light rays, destroy the protective tent, and transform into Bhrūṃ (भ्रूं). Scatter without aim with the wind from Yaṃ (यं, seed syllable for wind). Take the life and fortune of the enemy, the Yidam deity (yi dam lha, personal deity), dissolve into light, become Hūṃ (हूँ) and merge into me. For the unprotected and shelterless who tremble, inflict disease, weapons, poisonous rain, and blizzards. Place the Nṛ (नृ) dagger crossed in the heart. From that, countless rays with spokes emanate. The violent wheel cuts the life force. The gods and oath-bound ones enjoy the flesh, bones, internal organs, and senses. Gather the consciousness, life force, and radiance into myself.
