These seven verses of Rangjung Dorje (Self-Arisen Vajra) are the root of all Lama practices. Solely through this, for the yogi who strives for supreme and common siddhis, And who possesses faith and samaya: The root yogi Tötreng Tsal (Skull Garland Power), or whichever yidam one wishes to generate, With the three syllables at the three places, through rays of light, Invites and dissolves from their respective fields. Believe that siddhis will be accomplished without obstruction! First, relying on the Three Kayas of the Lama, to generate the three wisdoms, The words and mantras are transformed as follows: Hūṃ! In the northwest border of the land of Orgyen, on the lotus stamen, You attained the wondrous and supreme accomplishment, and are known as Padmasambhava. Surrounded by many dakinis, I will practice following you, please come to bless! Appear in the form of Samantabhadra, dissolve the illusion of the ground appearance into the expanse. Arriving on the ground of primordial purity, may the realization of the Dharmakaya's intention be manifested! Furthermore, the forty miraculous names, and the fifteen teachers of mantras, as well as the one hundred and eight names, etc., if each one is transformed and recited, for accomplishing all desires, it is like the king of wish-fulfilling jewels. In short, gather the supreme names and spread this supplementary material as needed: Hūṃ! Please invite the Guru of the land of Oddiyana to come! Appear in the form of forty miraculous signs, grant the supreme empowerment of perfecting ripening and liberation; dissolve the illusion of grasping and clinging into Dharmadhatu, grant the accomplishment of activity and wisdom. (Tibetan: བདེ་ཆེན་འགྱུར་མེད་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ།) Oṃ Guru Mahā Sukha Sarva Siddhi Hūṃ. Hear the sounds of symbolic instruments! Body, speech, and mind receive great blessings! Arise with intelligence, breakthrough, and realization! Command the eight classes of spirits, Grant the power of meaningful blessings to all who connect! Quickly go to the realm of Vidyadharas (knowledge holders)! Become inseparable from Padmasambhava (Lotus-Born)! Samaya (vow)! I am the embodiment of the Three Roots! The Vajra body born from the lotus! Holding the form of the magical net! If you pray with devotion! I will bestow accomplishments that match it! Therefore, for the sake of the present patrons and retinues, And for the benefit of future generations! With compassion, pour out the essence of the heart and instruct! Do not spread it, bury it as a profound treasure! In the degenerate age, my disciples will appear!
