【English Translation】 From the Profound Essence of the Three Roots for Longevity, a Prayer of the Lineage, 'Lotus Melodies'. Profound Seven Branches, Three Roots, Longevity Profound Essence Lineage Prayer. Self-arisen, indestructible, pure, stainless, Amitāyus (Amitāyus, अमिताभ, amitābha, Immeasurable Life), a treasure of luminous clarity, spontaneous presence, and compassion, Lord of a Hundred Families, Lotus-Born Vajra (Padmasambhava, पद्मसंभव, padmasaṃbhava, Lotus-Born), I pray to you, grant supreme and common siddhis. Ocean Queen (Yeshe Tsogyal) , the source of the great secret Dharma, at the feet of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo (Jamgon Kongtrul), the chariot of the teachings, Chokyi Lodro, holder of the Victor's heir, I pray to you, grant supreme and common siddhis. Supreme Emanation, Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, the Dharma Lord of the profound Dharma, oral transmission, and prophecy, the true guide, the root lama, I pray to you, grant supreme and common siddhis. Complete with aspects, Great Bliss Bindu, Horse Supreme Glorious, without aspects, emptiness, spring-like beauty, Pig-Faced One (Vajravarahi, वज्रवाराही, vajravārāhī, Vajravarahi), union, miraculous display, the four families of dakinis, I pray to you, grant supreme and common siddhis. Blessings of wisdom, root lama, actualization of love, root yidam, power of activity, root dakini, I pray to you, grant supreme and common siddhis. May vajra wisdom enter without obstruction, may the supreme and common longevity empowerment be attained without hindrance, may the wheel of the four activities be accomplished without impediment, may the essence of the three roots be pervasive and spontaneously accomplished. In the lotus womb of emptiness, stainless wisdom, the appearance of great bliss, the immutable vajra, from the accomplishment of unchanging life in union, may the wheel of wisdom's play be thoroughly turned. In the mandala of the space of the vajra consort (Vajrayogini, वज्रयोगिनी, vajrayoginī, Vajrayogini), the self-awareness bodhicitta matured by the four empowerments, may the great power of complete activity arise, may it hold the inexhaustible treasury of secret ornaments. This lineage prayer of the profound essence of the three roots for longevity, according to the command of Dhon trul Rinpoche, the owner of this profound Dharma, was written by Pema Garwang Lodro Thaye at Palpung Yidga Chodzin.
