To make the lamp offering extensive, offer lamps equal to the number of deities; to be concise, offer one, five, or three lamps. Hūṃ (藏文，梵文天城體，梵文羅馬擬音，漢語字面意思). In a wide vessel made of precious jewels, Fill with excellent beeswax, essence of oils, and the quintessence of grains. Lighting well the lamp fueled by clarified butter, With this lamp of clear light that destroys the forces of darkness, Fulfill the samaya of the deities of the Three Roots (Guru, Yidam, Protector). One's own color, shape, and form are the lamp vessel, The essence of flesh, blood, and bones is gathered as the lamp oil. Fulfillment and Confession The method of application is the treasure of the Vidyadhara's (holder of knowledge) mind, For the benefit of the fortunate ones, Kharchen Tso-gyal (蓮花生大士的明妃) Wrote it down and entrusted the instructions to Dudjom Dorje (敦珠多杰，a tertön), And made aspirations for its power to increase.
