【English Translation】 The Prayer for the Essential Instructions of the Three Roots, Terma TD74 of the Great Treasure. Ra Lingpa's Three Roots Lineage Prayer. The Prayer for the Essential Instructions of the Three Roots. Namo Guru (皈敬 गुरु，namo guru，Homage to the Guru). In the realm of great bliss, devoid of conceptualization and free from elaboration, I pray to the Dharmakaya Amitabha (無量光佛). Grant your blessings to attain the Dharmakaya beyond the intellect. In the palace on the eastern Ruby Mountain, I pray to the Sambhogakaya Avalokiteśvara (觀世音菩薩). Grant your blessings to realize the spontaneously present luminosity. In the lotus light palace of Glorious Copper Mountain, I pray to the Nirmanakaya Guru Padmasambhava (蓮花生). Grant your blessings to attain the state of a Vidyadhara (持明) in this life. In the supreme abodes of the twenty-four Dakinis (空行母), I pray to the Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal (益西措嘉). Grant your blessings to realize the union of bliss and emptiness. In the palace of the Dharma-wheel Great Bliss Island, I pray to the Tertön Ratna Lingpa (熱那林巴). Grant your blessings to accomplish the benefit of myself and others. On the seat of the sun, moon, and lotus above my crown, I pray to the kind root Guru. Grant your blessings to ripen and liberate my being. In the east of the great Garuda rock, the sacred place, I pray to the essential instructions of the Three Roots of the sacred Dharma. Grant your blessings to realize the true nature of phenomena. In the spontaneously present, pure, secret palace, I pray to the Yidam (本尊) deities, peaceful and wrathful. Grant your blessings to realize the self-arisen, spontaneously present state. In the palace of entrusted activity and samaya (誓言), I pray to the ocean of oath-bound Dharma protectors (護法). Grant your blessings to pacify outer and inner obstacles. Wherever you abide, in the inseparable pure palace, I pray to all Dharma friends and brothers. Grant your blessings to merge our minds into one. Grant your blessings to recognize the nature of the Three Kayas (三身). Grant your blessings to be free from dualistic mind. Grant your blessings to perfect pure perception without bias. Grant your blessings to seize the kingdom of practice. Grant your blessings to liberate beings with their retinue in this life. Thus, one should pray.
